SERVER/ BARTENDER

  • Compensation: Hourly + Tips 

Goal of this position

  • The goal of a server/bartender at Station 66 Italian Bistro is to bring exceptional customer service to our patrons through extensive product knowledge & superior customer service.

  • The Server/ Bartender position reports to the Service Managers and General Manager of the Downtown Collective.

Server Job Responsibilities

  • Stay updated on current menu choices, features and menu deviations. Know if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc. and properly communicate this to fellow teammates

  • Work as a team by maintaining a proper dining experience within the FOH by ensuring items are delivered timely, customer needs are fulfilled, and that the guest has an excellent customer experience

  • Have extensive product knowledge regarding Historic Brewing Co. Beers and Grand Canyon Wine Co wine

  • Have the knowledge to effectively and efficiently perform the duties of busser, expo and host

  • Ensure that all menu items are being ran in through Aloha system

  • Completing daily side work and checking out with the MOD or Lead Server before leaving at the end of shift

Bartender Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar, servers and restaurant patrons

  • Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way

  • Prepare barista drinks with accuracy for servers and restaurant patrons

  • Assess customers’ needs, preferences and make recommendations

  • Follow recipes and mix ingredients to prepare house cocktails

  • Pour beer, wine and liquor to company and legal guidelines

  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations

  • Keep track of all employee drinks and meals throughout the shift and ensure that they are rang in correctly

  • Keeping bar organized, clean and all items dated and rotated properly

Our Expectations

  • Maintain extraordinary standards of customer service at Station 66 Italian Bistro. Must be both a team player and leader

  • All Servers must obtain a Cicerone Certified Beer Server certification and a Coconino Food Handlers Certification

  • All Bartenders must obtain a Title 4 Liquor Manager through the State of Arizona

Work Environment:
Movement is spent in high-traffic areas while performing various tasks. The position is exposed to high energy loud music levels and lowlights for long periods of time (8+ hours)


Physical Demands:
The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires the ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours). Requires at times high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach with arms, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat. Requires the lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
