Brewery Taproom Bartender
Goal of this position
The goal of a bartender at Historic Brewing Company Taproom is to bring exceptional customer service to our patrons through extensive product knowledge and superior customer service
The bartender position reports to the Taproom Manager
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
Follow recipes and mix ingredients to prepare house cocktails
Pour beer, wine and liquor to company and legal guidelines
Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Keeping bar organized, clean and all items dated properly
Maintain extraordinary standards of customer service at HBC. Must be both a team player and leader
All Servers must obtain a Cicerone Certified Beer Server certification and a Coconino Food Handlers Certification
Movement is spent in high-traffic areas while performing various tasks. The position is exposed to high energy loud music levels and lowlights for long periods of time (8+ hours)
The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires the ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours). Requires at times high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach with arms, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat. Requires the lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Hourly position that requires a flexible schedule, often-working workdays, weekends, and holidays. Shifts include normally as early as 10 a.m. and as late as 2 a.m.
